A detailed description of the itinerary
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel and attend a trek briefing with your guide. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Take an early morning scenic flight (30-35 minutes) to Lukla. Start the trek with a gradual descent to Phakding, passing through small villages and crossing suspension bridges. Trek duration: 3-4 hours.
Follow the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. A steep ascent leads to Namche Bazaar, the vibrant Sherpa town. Trek duration: 5-6 hours.
