A detailed description of the itinerary
Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (7-8 hours), enjoying scenic views of rural Nepal, terraced fields, and mountains. Once at Syabrubesi, rest and prepare for the trek.
Trek to Lama Hotel (5-6 hours) through rhododendron forests and small villages. The path offers beautiful views of Langtang and surrounding mountains.
Continue trekking to Langtang Village (6-7 hours). Pass through meadows and small settlements while enjoying views of snow-capped peaks. Langtang is a Tibetan-influenced village.
Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (4-5 hours), a Buddhist monastery surrounded by stunning views of Langtang Lirung and other peaks. It’s a great spot for acclimatization.
Take a day to acclimatize. You can hike to Kyanjin Ri or Tsergo Ri for panoramic views of Langtang Lirung and nearby peaks or relax in the serene surroundings.
Descend back to Lama Hotel (5-6 hours), retracing your steps through the Langtang Valley’s forests and villages.
