Dhaulagiri circuit Trekking  is one of the challenging trekking trail which takes you one round the seventh highest mountain in world Mt. Dhaulagiri(8,167m),sited in the western region of Nepal. The trek explores a wild, remote and off-the-beaten-track-area of western Nepal Himalayas. We come across verdant valley amidst cultivated fields, passes through the rhododendron forest, and meadows with high passes, hot springs and much more exhilarating scenery. This trail is inhabited by people of Magars tribe of Mongol stock with their own unique culture. This trek avoids the main trail and therefore it is quite strenuous and demanding.

Dhaulagiri circuit trekking route was first discovered by French expeditions that climb Annapurna I. This circuit provides stunning views of the whole Dhaulagiri range. Base Camp is at altitude of 4750 meters, dominated by the Dhaulagiri I(80167m) in south and Dhaulagiri II(7751), III(7715m), IV(7661), V(7618m) to the west. This trail crosses the French Pass (5400m) and the Thapa pass (5230m). This route is recently opened so it has long kept secret to be unfold like Kali Gandaki Gorge and many others. Geographically, it is the land of dramatic contrast. The trek starts after an 8 hour scenic drive from Kathmandu to Beni and then you have to head north- west direction passing some of the villages of Magars community. Dhaulagiri is regarded as challenging and most adventurous trek around the Dhaulagiri massif. Dhaulagiri Circuit trekking Itinerary

Day 01 : Welcome to Nepal. upon your arrival at Nepal our representative welcome you and assists to transfer in your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu (1,350m).
Day 02 : Kathmandu Valley city tours and preparation for upcoming trek.
Day 03 : Fly/drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, drive to Beni via Darbang.
Day 04 : Trek from Darbang to Sibang (1350m)
Day 05 : Trek from Sibang to Muri, 5 hrs (1850m)
Day 06 : Trek from Muri to Boghara, 7 hrs (2080m)
Day 07 : Trek from Boghara to  Dobang, 6 hrs (2520m)
Day 08 : Trek from Dobang to Chartare, 5 hrs (2820m)
Day 09 : Trek from Chartare to Pakabon, 5 hrs (3510m)
Day 10 : Rest day for acclimatization
Day 11 : Trek from Pakabon to  Glacier, 6 hrs (3810m)
Day 12 : Trek from Glacier to Dhaulagiri base camp, 7 hrs (4750m)
Day 13 : Rest day for Acclimatization
Day 14 : Trek from Dhaulagiri base camp to French pass (5360m) - Hidden valley, 5 hrs
Day 15 : Trek from Hidden valley to Thapa pass (5230m) via Yak kharka (3680m), 6 hrs
Day 16 : Trek from Yak kharka to Jomsom (2720m), 5 hrs
Day 17 : Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara (820m), fly 30 mins.
Day 18: Fly/ drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Day 19: Free day in Kathmandu you can continue little sightseeing around Kathmandu valley.
Day 20 : After this amazing trek if you are interested for other activities like Safari, Rafting, Biking Tours, Peak climbing or more trekking in other region we can organize as your desire. If you decide to leave Nepal we will transfer to airport for your onward destination.
